The SEFUSE® SM type is a thermal cutoff designed to prevent fires in household appliances and industrial electrical equipment.Using a ceramic case as an insulator, it can be fixed directly to the area where temperature detection is required without insulation.

The insulating case contains a fusible alloy that melts when the ambient temperature reaches an abnormal level to cut off the circuit.
